Our journey began when two hearts—one from the bustling streets of Karachi, Pakistan and the other from the vibrant neighborhood of Maryland—came together with a shared love for celebrations and a vision to create magical memories.
Our Story
Luqman Khiani: Born in the bustling streets of Karachi, Pakistan, Luqman’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore the world of event services. His knack for technology and eye for detail laid the foundation for Luminous Affairs.
Nafeeza Ahmed: An American-born Bangladeshi with a passion for flair and entertainment, Nafeeza infuses warmth and creativity into every project. Her love for hosting gatherings and creating joyous experiences infuses every project with magic.
Luminous Affairs is a family owned and operated event management company that is local to Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV). Our company represents two cultures coming together with a blended background. With the Co-owners being from south Asian background. The water lily is a representation of Nafeeza’s Bengali background and combined with the white jasmine in representation of Luqman’s Pakistani heritage. Currently offering party entertainment services opening with the launch of our 360 Video-Photo Booth service is just the beginning as we expand.
